Since migrating to New Zealand in 2001, Henry has worked in residential construction, property development and property finance. His building and development experience enable him to communicate effectively with clients and advisors, understanding their drivers and providing the best solutions for their specific project needs.

Henry is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and he holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) honours degree in Engineering with Business Finance from University College London.

Michael has nearly 10 years’ experience in property development and construction management. With a Bachelor of Construction Economics from Unitec, Michael started his career as a quantity surveyor for the Hawkins Construction Group. He has also worked with property developers based locally and offshore gaining considerable first-hand knowledge and practical understanding of project delivery.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Construction Economics degree from Unitec Institute of Technology and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Edward has over 15 years of experience in the property and finance industry, working across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Since returning to Auckland in 2016 he has funded a range of property investment and development transactions throughout the country. Prior to joining Vincent Capital, Edward worked in BNZ’s specialist Property Finance Unit for 6 years, following roles at Westpac and Lloyds Banking Group.

Edward holds a Bachelor of Property and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Auckland.

Danny has 7 years experience in banking across both Corporate and Personal banking but always focusing on Property Finance. With a Bachelor of Finance degree from Massey University, Danny offers a robust foundation in financial services. His commitment to exceptional customer service, backed by a kind demeanor, fosters enduring client relationships built on trust and reliability.

Lucy has five years’ experience in both the bank and non-bank space, with a consistent focus on Property Finance, holding a Bachelor of Laws (specialising in property law) and a Bachelor of Arts from Canterbury University.

She has developed robust industry knowledge over this time, with a commitment to fostering relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Lucy has funded a range of investment and development transactions throughout the country, with a particular focus on South Island residential developments.

Johnny began his career in the construction industry five years ago at a leading Quantity Surveying consultancy. During this time, he has developed extensive knowledge and technical skills in the commercial space during delivery of various projects in the education and infrastructure sectors.

Johnny is holds National Diploma’s in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management and is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Phoebe is a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in residential development across Auckland. Having worked with some of the top construction companies in New Zealand, she brings a wealth of knowledge in cost management, budgeting, and project delivery.

Phoebe plays a key role in ensuring the financial success of our residential projects, delivering accurate cost estimates, and providing strategic financial guidance. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence help drive successful outcomes for our developments.

Tyra is a qualified CPA Australia with a strong background in accounting and auditing. She began her career at KPMG Vietnam in 2012, gaining broad experience, particularly in auditing for the banking and finance sectors. Tyra later moved to New Zealand to complete a Master of Management (Accounting) at the University of Auckland, graduating with Merit. She also holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Tyra has worked across both award-winning public and private sector organisations, including roles at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, HLB Mann Judd, and Pushpay. Her work has spanned financial reporting, capital management, group accounting, audit, and taxation. She brings a strategic and detail-oriented approach, backed by diverse experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Amanda is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience spanning the construction and finance sectors. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor and former Personal Manager in banking, she has successfully managed a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

By integrating her extensive knowledge of finance and construction, Amanda brings a unique analytical perspective combined with a client-centered approach. She is passionate about fostering collaboration, driving excellence, and building strong relationships to deliver outstanding value throughout every phase of her work.

Amanda holds a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Melissa is currently on maternity leave.

With a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and a Master of Construction Management, Melissa brings her experience as a QS and Bank QS to our team. She brings discipline and expertise across a number of specialisations including bank funding, post-contract cost management and cost construction management.

Melissa’s expertise is in bank funding and providing accurate and detailed information that provides clients and funders confidence in the project undertaken. Harnessing her Quantity Surveying experience enables her to provide knowledge and understanding of the project from construction progression through to bank funding requirements ensuring she has a holistic view of the entire process.
